Nobody Cares About Vista

February 1st, 2007

Almost a year ago, in a post called “Who Cares About Vista?” I pointed out that the numerous delays, lackluster betas and general lack of competitiveness of Microsoft was putting Apple in a very strong position to, basically, rule the world.

And in that post, I mentioned that the one thing Apple could do was to use iPod as a weapon against Microsoft, banking on the fact that most people would prefer to have a working iPod and not risk the “upgrade” to Vista.

Read it and weep.

Because … windows users aren’t as excitable as mac users … And for a good reason. It’s just a sodding operating system after all! If it was a brand new way of using a PC then fair enough get excited about it, but it’s just an upgrade.
